A downloadable game for Windows

Wander the continent as a poor vagabond. Struggle to build wealth by hunting, fishing, and helping strangers. Or skip the struggle and steal from everyone you meet.

Vagabond is a short, open world action RPG where you choose your path to wealth. Explore the capitalistic continent of Fallkirk and walk the line between hero and criminal.

Drymnir, abandoned as child, has never known home or stability. He finds himself in Dead Man's Hollow, a camp for the wretched with nowhere to call home, where even bread and water feel out of reach. Sparked by a dream of greatness, he begins his journey. The path he takes is up to you.

Unique Local Reputation System

You're not the hero everyone's talking about. You're reputation hasn't spread. Banished from a village for your crimes? No problem. Head to the next town and start over. Craft your own redemption arc.

Poor to Rich

Choose from one of many paths to wealth - hunting, fishing, trading, bounties, or crime.

Action Combat

Summon zombies and imps, find new spells, and upgrade your gear to survive.

Hey there, strange question - any chance you can tell me what fonts your game uses?

My setup is a bit odd (playing thru linux via WINE), so I don't think it is any problem in your development/packaging, but I am missing some fonts (so I get blank text boxes). If you can list the fonts you used, I'm pretty sure I can fix the issue on my end.
Thanks!

Arial and Tahoma.

I believe I've explored everything in the game except the haunted mine and the shady guy in the alleyway, and it was absolute everything I wanted in an RPG maker game.

From the slow and difficult start as a nobody, to the absolute unit you can become as you slaughter the bosses for the bounties, the world building that each character provides, I hoped to see more criminal options, and more jobs when you join the Liongaurd order but I'm satisfied with what I've gotten. This kinda makes me want to play TES Oblivion again.

But overall the game is really small, and I really hope this gets picked up by a studio or something, there is obviously many features and areas that can be easily added if a team worked on it.

9/10 would recommend

Thanks for the bug report! I've uploaded a new version with the missing DLL and some of the RTP files.
